Biography
| I completed my undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Life Sciences with a minor in Psychology. After that, I went on to do a graduate program at Mohawk College in Brain Disorders Management. I’ve since been working as a research assistant at the CanChild Centre for Childhood-Onset Disability Research where most of the projects I’ve been working on have centered around work force development in autistic high school students and creating inclusive campuses for autistic post-secondary students. My time at CanChild has largely shaped my interest and commitment to supporting children and youth with disabilities and their families. My current research is focused on supporting families on the waitlist at children’s treatment centres by identifying and developing resources to help them achieve their child’s goals at home. |
