Biography

Hayli Jang completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Life Sciences with a minor in Psychology. After that, she went on to do a graduate program at Mohawk College in Brain Disorders Management. She has since been working as a research assistant at the CanChild Centre for Childhood-Onset Disability Research, where most of the projects she has been working on have centered around workforce development in autistic high school students and creating inclusive campuses for autistic post-secondary students. Her time at CanChild has largely shaped her interest and commitment to supporting children and youth with disabilities and their families. Her current research is focused on supporting families on the waitlist at children’s treatment centres by identifying and developing resources to help them achieve their child’s goals at home.

Fun Fact

Some of my hobbies include running and bullet journalling.
